Overview
Menu Bar Meeting Manager (the “App”) is a macOS menu bar application from Kram Industries. It shows upcoming meetings and provides quick access to supported meeting links. This policy explains how the App accesses, uses, stores, and shares Google user data.
Google data the App accesses
After you choose to connect a Google account, the App requests read-only Google Calendar access. It accesses calendar event titles, start and end times, locations, attendee lists, meeting URLs, and the email address identifying the connected calendar account.
The App cannot create, modify, or delete Google Calendar events.
How Google data is used
Calendar data is used exclusively to display current and upcoming meetings, show relevant meeting details, notify you of upcoming meetings when enabled, and provide quick access to meeting links.
Storage and security
Calendar data is stored locally in the App’s macOS sandbox. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored as app-owned, device-only items in macOS Keychain. Tokens are used solely to authenticate requests to Google Calendar and are never sent to Kram Industries servers.
Kram Industries does not operate a server that receives or stores your calendar data. The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs.
Sharing and disclosure
Kram Industries does not sell, rent, share, or use Google user data for advertising. The App communicates directly with Google Calendar to provide the features you request. Google’s own handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Menu Bar Meeting Manager’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your choices and deletion
You can disconnect Google Calendar from the App’s settings at any time. Disconnecting requests revocation of the Google token and deletes the App’s local Keychain tokens. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions.
Disconnect before uninstalling to remove app-owned credentials immediately. Uninstalling removes the App’s sandbox data; macOS may retain Keychain items unless they were removed through Disconnect.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and Kram Industries does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the App changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest revision.
